This state built its entire identity with tourism. This is the south eastern state in the US. It is a most popular winter destination. Florida is also called as the Sunshine State. Central Florida is conquered by Orlando and it is well known coterie of theme parks, sea world, universal studios, Disney world, and many more attractions to tourists.

Great Barrier Reef


This is the world’s largest coral reef ecosystem. It is one of the top travel destinations in Australia. You can see it from the outer space and it is the world’s largest single structure, which is made of living organisms. The reef supports 10,000 species which consists of 1500 types of fishes and 200 kinds of birds. This beauty inspires many of the travelers to visit the place.

Grand Canyon


Grand Canyon is the steep-sided gorge carved by the Colorado River in Arizona State of United States. The powerful sources that cause an impact on the Grand Canyon is erosion, first is by water and second is by wind.


Nearly 5 million people visit the 1 mile deep Grand Canyon every year. Planning a vacation to the Grand Canyon national park provides a great relief for you and your family.

The best time to visit Grand Canyon is during the summer, fall and mild spring, but most locals agree that winter is the great time to visit. The Colosseum is a large building made by the Roman Empire. It is an amphitheatre built in elliptical shape, which can seat more than 60.000 spectators.

It stands in Rome, the capital of Italy; at the East of the Roman Forum. Thousands of people travelled there in order to watch the gladiator battles, executions and many other acts that the Emperors made for the espectators.

Who and How?

It was built by the Emperor Vespasiano, and the construction started in the year 70 BC. Ten years later it was finished, by the Emperor Tito. Also, it was modified during the empire of Domiciano. The last games were celebrated in the VI Century.

What?

It is one of the most important remaining of the pre-Hispanic civilizations in America. It was named as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, in 2007 by the UNESCO.

Where?

It is located in Yucatan Peninsula, which is in Southeastern Mexico, and separates the Caribbean Sea from the Gulf of Mexico. The area where that monument stands is predominated by short and tall dry tropical jungles.

Who and How?

Chichen Itza was funded in the year 525 by the Itzaes, who were druids of the Mayan Civilization. Different buildings were constructed in this city, for example Ball Courts, Churches, Sacrifice places and a Temple of Warriors.

Giza is a Necropolis, and it consists in a complex of pyramids, being the Great Pyramid of Giza the only remaining building of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is also an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It is located in Egypt, which is in the North-East of Africa. This city stands in the Sahara desert, along the Nile Delta. The Nile, being the longest river in the world, was vital for the Egyptian civilization.

Who and How?

These pyramids are thought to be built by slaves of the Egyptian pharaohs. Scientists think that slaves were captured from their villages, and were forced to work in the pyramids. These monuments were constructed using building blocks of stone, which were sculpted and moved by thousands of slaves.
